ABOUT US
The Brendan Whelan Foundation was officially launched on the 19th of January 2006 by Joseph Whelan in memory of his dear brother Brendan (Messer) Whelan who tragically lost his life on the 19th of January 2005 after he fell from the sixth floor of a Ballymun eight storey block of flats.
Brendan was involved in helping young people, and teaching them about drugs and the dangers of the world. It was his dream, and he found great aspiration in helping young people find their goals in life.
The
foundation is in aid of fighting depression,
and providing family bereavement support world wide by
supplying information, and helping anyone who may be
suffering from depression, or to help find support for family and friends
with their great loss.
The foundation was founded in 2006 by members of Brendan's family.
Throughout this website, we hope that you,
whoever you are, can find the help you need to continue with the
beautiful life you have, or if you have tragically lost someone close
like a relative or friend, then we hope you can find the help and
support you need.
The Brendan Whelan
Foundation is an non-profit organization. All donations made to the foundation
are used to help fight depression and/or provide family support in Ireland and
the United Kingdom.
